The tread of the Latitude Tour HP features 2-D Active Sipes for improved handling in snow and rain by locking together for increased rigidity. Thanks to the precisely placed polyester along with aramid/nylon filaments (FAZ Technology) beneath the tread, the Latitude Tour HP offers better stability and steering responsiveness at higher speeds. Additionally, the shape and tread compound of the Latitude Tour HP are optimized for reduced rolling resistance and improved fuel efficiency.

The wide circumferential grooves help reduce the chances of hydroplaning, and the 2-D Active Sipes increase handling in the snow and rain. Featuring Michelin?s FAZ Technology (Filament At Zero degrees), the tire's internal structure showcases twin steel belts reinforced with polyester and aramid/nylon cords wound spirally under the tread area delivering a stable feel and crisp steering.
